Say ‘YES’ to Maternity Clothes!

I went into Motherhood Maternity today with one purpose: maternity capris for work. Obviously they were running 837 promotions and I left with two hundred dollars worth of stuff. 4 pairs of pants, 3 tops, 5 pairs of undies, and 1 dress. But I do not have buyer’s remorse.

I’m just starting to get more of a belly (which admittedly grows as I eat…), and my regular clothes still fit, but you know what… I’m looking much more adorable in maternity clothes. That’s why they make maternity clothes, folks. No, they are not in my budget, but… oh well, they are now hanging in my closet anyway!

I say, treat yourself to at least a couple pairs of pants and a few tops! So worth it! I swear as soon as I put the clothes on, I looked and felt more pregnant! I will try to post pics as I wear the different things I bought… other than the undies 😉.

  1. I slipped on my first pair of maternity pants and the first words out of my mouth were “why haven’t I always worn these?!” They’re the most comfortable clothes I’ve ever worn.

    • Exactly! One of my pet peeves about pants in general is that they are not smooth in front (zipper / buttons make it bunch out). Maternity pants are where it’s at!!!

  2. I’ll make a confession- I never giving up my maternity jeans. The small panel ones are just too nice. I hate getting poked by zippers and buttons. One week after birth I went out and bought myself some maternity shorts because it was hot. I’m not running around on crop tops so I figure nobody will know my comfy secret!

  3. Very true. I think we also tend to forget that we are still female and it always feel nice to wear something pretty and something that flaunts your baby bump. Enjoy your new additions to your wardrobe 🙂

  4. I feel you!! I’m 28 weeks tomorrow and have made it this far in just regular clothes, and I dropped $150 at MM on a dress, a couple tops, and maternity leggings and I already feel so much better. Their stuff is so fashionable that I have zero regrets!
